SSL Certificates Service Agreement
1. Agreement Overview
This SSL Certificates Service Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your use of SSL certificates (“Certificates”) and related services (“Services”) provided by Haitibyte. By purchasing or using our SSL Services, you agree to these terms, which supplement our general Terms of Service. You refers to the customer or authorized representative, while “we,” “us,” refer to Haitibyte.

2. Certificate Types & Validation Levels
2.1 Fully Authenticated Certificates (EV/OV)
Applies to:
– Extended Validation (EV) & Organization Validation (OV) Certificates
Features:
✔ Identity Verification – Confirms your organization’s legal existence
✔ Domain Authorization – Validates your right to use the domain
✔ Enhanced Trust Indicators (e.g., green address bar for EV)
2.2 Domain-Validated (DV) Certificates
Applies to:
– Basic SSL, Wildcard SSL, and other DV Certificates
Features:
✔ Domain Ownership Only – No organizational verification
✔ Encryption Only – No identity assurance
3. Usage Restrictions
You agree not to use SSL Certificates for:
– Unauthorized domains (only the domain(s) listed in your application)
– Multiple servers (unless explicitly permitted by the CA)
– High-risk systems, including:
✖ Nuclear facilities
✖ Air traffic control
✖ Weapons systems
✖ Any application where failure could cause death, injury, or severe harm
4. Fees & Payment
– Non-refundable (unless stated otherwise in our Refund Policy)
– Payment required before activation
– Renewal fees apply at current rates
5. Expiration & Renewals
– Your responsibility to track expiration dates
– We may (but are not obligated to) send renewal reminders
– Unpaid renewals result in service termination
6. Revocation Policy
We may revoke your Certificate without notice if:
– Your domain/organization info becomes invalid
– You violate this Agreement
– You engage in harmful activities (at our sole discretion)
7. Indemnification
You agree to:
✔ Defend & indemnify Haitibyte, its partners, and affiliates
✔ Cover legal costs for third-party claims arising from:
– Your misuse of Certificates
– Violations of this Agreement
– Intellectual property disputes
This obligation survives termination of services.
8. Modifications & Final Terms
– Haitibyte may update this Agreement at any time
– Continued use = acceptance of changes
– No verbal/written amendments unless signed by Haitibyte
9. Waiver of Claims
– Failure to enforce a term ≠ waiver of rights
– Partial invalidity ≠ entire Agreement void
